NOTE: There have been some difficulties with the hotel web registration page. Please make your reservations by using the 800 number.
Please advise them that you are booking with the 191st AHC Association for our reunion between 9/13/2012 and 9/16/2012 to assure you receive the group rate. Room Reservations must be completed by August 1, 2012. Room Rates are $79.00 per night.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The 191st AHC Association has already contracted a block of rooms with the host hotel at a competitive rate. In that contract, the host hotel has agreed to provide the hospitality room and other benefits. These are based on the percentage of rooms rented in the 191st block of rooms. If you shop for room rates at the same hotel outside the group rate, or stay down the street, you are competing with the 191st Association block of rooms, and the benefits go away, and the 191st AHC Association pays the difference.
Reunion Registration
As at previous reunions, the central meeting place will be the hospitality room, where the 191st family can meet, chat, share pictures, and just be together again. The hospitality room will be available throughout the reunion, and snacks and beverages will be available there.
Since some costs will need to be paid in advance and we will need a headcount, it is necessary to register and submit those fees by August 1, 2012. Activity prices are summarized on the registration form. Mail the registration form to:

A. How to get from the airport to
the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort.
1. Go to the Mears kiosk at the baggage claim and/or shuttle bus
levels and the standard rate is $21 one way or $34 round trip.
2. Alternatively, the public bus system LYNX has
service from the airport to the street in front of the hotel. Cost is $2 per
person and takes about 60-70 minutes.
3. A cab ride is about $50 and takes about 25 minutes. With a cab,
though, there is no wait as there would be for the two bus options.
4. I'm working on a discount for a rental car from Enterprise. By
the way, the Wyndham offers us free parking -- the only hotel on Hotel Plaza
Blvd that offers this option (most are $10 per day).
B. Disney responded with a personalized link for
tickets for our group. The link is:

Disney employee discount for all but the one day ticket. That's the best you'll

C. I've investigated a trip to the Space Center.
We can get a bus for a half day trip for about $10 per person. However, the
admission rate to the center is a little high for a half day trip ($43). So
I'll be working on that. Also, the bus needs a guarantee a of 50 minimum. I'll
still see if I can get the center to give us a better rate, but we can decide
what we want to do later.
